Why These Models Dominate
Volume is the primary factor. The Fiesta was the UK’s bestselling car for decades, so the sheer number of them means the highest volume reaching scrap age. Production numbers directly correlate with scrapping numbers roughly 15-20 years later. Their parts are always in demand through our breakers yard.
Rising Models
We are seeing increasing numbers of Nissan Qashqais, Kia Sportages, and Hyundai Tucsons as the first generation of these popular crossovers reaches end-of-life. BMW 3 Series and Audi A3 models are also becoming more common in the scrap stream as early 2000s premium cars age out.
